The Asian premiere of the Custom Line Navetta 33 headlines the fifth Thailand Yacht Show at Royal Phuket Marina (January 9-12), where the Ferretti Group is exhibiting the 108ft superyacht and a 39ft Rivamare in collaboration with Lee Marine. The latter is also hosting the Asia premiere of the Australia-built Riviera 68 Sports Yacht.
The provisional line-up for the four-day show features over 40 boats including motor yachts from Sunseeker, Princess, Azimut, Sanlorenzo, MCY and Prestige, plus power and sailing catamarans from Lagoon, Leopard, Aquila and Fountaine Pajot.
A Sunseeker 76 Yacht will be exhibited by Sunseeker Thailand, while Boat Lagoon Yachting will exhibit three Princess models including a Y85.
Azimuts on display at the Thailand Yacht Show include the Azimut 80 Oks from Northrop & Johnson, and an Azimut 66 flybridge and Atlantis 43 from MGC Marine, the Italian builder’s dealer in Thailand. An MCY 70 from Italy and Prestige 500 and 420 models from France will be shown by Asia Yachting.
A Sanlorenzo SL104 from Italy leads Simpson Marine’s display, which also includes Lagoon 46 and 42 sailing catamarans and a Beneteau Flyer 8.8 Sundeck from France, and an Aquila 44 powercat built in China. Meanwhile, Leopard is exhibiting a 43 PC powercat – built in South Africa – in a solid show for catamarans, both power and sail.
Multihull Solutions Asia is staging the Asia premiere of the Neel 51 sailing trimaran, which has won multiple awards including at the 2019 International Multihull Boat Show in France and could be a head-turner on its Thailand Yacht Show debut.
The multihull dealer is also showing the Fountaine Pajot MY 40 from France – which had its world premiere in January 2019 and its Asia premiere at last year’s Singapore Yacht Show – plus the world premiere of the Stealth 36e powercat, designed by Alan Carwadine and built in Phuket by Asia Catamarans.
An Indigo 53 available for charter is also among the powercats on display at the Thailand Yacht Show, while the 68ft Ron Holland-designed Four Seasons IV is a rare sailing monohull in the line-up.
On water, the show includes a demo platform as well as a new Floating Lounge, an extension of the on-land VIP Lounge, which will feature interior design and furniture from Thailand-based M2 Plus.
The 2,500sqm air-conditioned exhibition hall will have a wide range of products on display from marine suppliers including ZF innovations, VRH stainless steel and Seakeeper gyro stabilisers, while Tonsai Marine will showcase Williams Jet Tenders on the boardwalk.
