Ancient Chinese painting. The painting belongs to the Yao people, an ethnic minority whose origins date back over 2000 years ago, who now lives mainly in the southwest of China, Vietnam and Laos. The painting depicts several members of the Yao Society. The scene is dominated by the two monks at the center. Their importance, underlined by the proportions, emerges from many details. Their clothes are mirror chromatically and on them are the paintings themselves. Sun also symbolized by the three spirals: They represent the cycle of life, death and rebirth, just as the sun is born and dies every day. CCW wants instead ward off negativity. In addition to the great symbols protagonist of the painting is the color. Black and red create a strong chromatic impact that dominates the entire scene.
